  8. King of Capitalism? A book deal, that's what. The improbable
  9. summit took place when Australian-born media mogul Rupert
  10. Murdoch, who is chairman of Harper Collins' parent company,
  11. stopped by the Kremlin to talk rubles and reprints with Raisa
  12. Gorbachev, in need of a publisher for her autobiography. Such
  13. high-level negotiating is rare in the book world, but the
  14. personal touch worked -- and Murdoch walked off with the rights
  15. to publish I Hope: Reminiscences and Reflections, Raisa's
  16. account of her childhood, her life with Gorby and, yes, her
  17. run-ins with Nancy Reagan. The book is due in the fall.
